Yaldabaoththe self-proclaimed god of all monsters, is Dirk Strider 's denizen in the Land of Tombs and Kryptonwho shares a name with Dirk's browser of choice. He is also Caliborn 's denizen, appearing in Earth 's core after Caliborn brought Earth into his session.
Additionally, it is implied that due to his extreme nature and difficultly he is often assigned in dead sessions. According to Aranea, he is "notoriously inhospitable" and is known for offering extreme Choices. Yaldabaoth was seen in person when Caliborn talked to his denizen, making him the first denizen to appear on screen in the comic. He has the body of a giant red serpent and his head is either obscured by or made of a bright light comparable to that of a sun, closely resembling the symbol of the Light Aspect.
Yaldabaoth is a demiurge in the Gnostic school of philosophy that is a being who created and maintains the physical universe. Gnosticism requires a demiurge because it postulates that God, being perfect, could not create the imperfect world that humans inhabit. Yaldabaoth is the creator of man, and is depicted as having the face of a lion and the body of a serpent, and he is also associated with fire.
He is described as being half-flame and half-darkness. Dirk's chumhandle "timaeusTestified" references the concept of the demiurge, as it was first put forth by Plato in his dialogue Timaeus. However, the concept of Yaldabaoth is by nature from an offshoot of Christianity, making it an oddity amongst six of the seven other Denizens excluding AbraxasJake 's Denizen who are named after classical Greek mythological figures. Not much is known about Dirk's interaction with Yaldabaoth.
Its face appears bronze and is no longer glowing. Yaldabaoth appears in the core of future post-scratch Earth when Caliborn enters the Medium, becoming its denizen. Once Caliborn found and unlocked the door to his lair, Yaldabaoth gave Caliborn The Choice : either take a passive role, sacrificing his life for the power to stop a great force of evil, or gain immortality and unlimited power to cause destruction, after a series of difficult trials.
Caliborn, of course, chooses the latter. Once he accepted these terms, Yaldabaoth initializes a long process which involves Caliborn conquering and destroying several planets. Once he had destroyed them all, Caliborn's true land would be unlocked, the dead Earth brought back to life. Earth at this point would be renamed to the "Land of Colors and Mayhem".
Finally, Caliborn would have to face Yaldabaoth in combat, and if successful, would receive unconditional immortality and a limitless supply of destructive power.
Aranea explains this in Act 6 Intermission 4. Yaldabaoth's door is surrounded by various carvings. Above it are a pair of sillhouettes similar in appearance to Echidna and a number of Time gears because Caliborn is a Time Player. Even more curious is the shape of the carving around the door itself, which has the same silhouette as D o c Scratch 's grandfather clockand the rooks in Calliope's chess set. Furthermore, the pillars to the left and right of the door feature the same imagery as the lower half of the grandfather clock: female figures with twisted serpentine legs, a possible reference to Echidna though she lacks arms.
In Act 6 Act 6 Act 5 it is revealed that at some point Caliborn successfully killed Yaldabaoth, or at least he did in whatever timeline we are observing in this act. The battle between Caliborn and Yaldabaoth is shown during Collide. He serves serving as the story's overarching antagonist behind everything happening in the game's story. He is the manifestation of humanity's wish for order and control, considers himself to be a god, and represents all of the deadly sins.
Whatever the outcome is, humanity would eventually fall under his control. Igor, the proprietor of the Velvet Room, disagreed, believing that humanity could be saved. Too prideful to allow himself to be proven wrong, Yaldabaoth absorbed the Velvet Room into Mementos, a large portion of another realm known as the Metaverse that is maintained by his presence and the public's cognition. From there, he imprisoned Igor and split Igor's assistant, Lavenza, into two twin wardens known as Caroline and Justine, who were taught that humanity should be punished.Exploring the SCP Foundation: The Scarlet King
Yaldabaoth then decided to conduct an experiment to decide if humanity should be ruled over by him or allowed to live without him. This would ensure that Japan and then the world would be placed under brutal, authoritarian control of their own will, which Yaldabaoth would in turn rule over himself.
Simply put, if Akechi won, then humanity would be met with ruin. The second was the protagonist, who would become a Trickster and rise up against the corruption of society. If he won, then humanity would be saved, but Yaldabaoth rigged the outcome by influencing the public's cognition into following his preferred outcome regardless of how much the protagonist was able to succeed, ensuring that he would rule no matter who ended up outsmarting the other.
Yaldabaoth installed the Metaverse Navigator on the protagonist and Akechi's phones so they could navigate through Palaces. Yaldabaoth disguises himself as Igor, claiming to be Igor himself, which he does for most of the game.
Yaldabaoth observes the protagonist's process, which he calls the protagonist's "rehabilitation" as the protagonist forms the Phantom Thieves and takes down the rulers of each Palace, steadily providing the protagonist with more services of the Velvet Room. Once the Phantom Thieves defeat Akechi and Shido, they come to realize that the public is not concerned with punishing him for his crimes as they should be, and have become distorted in desiring a strong ruler to lead them no matter how cruel they may end up being.
Yaldabaoth, still disguised as Igor, declares that mankind's distortion may no longer be able to be fixed and that ruin is now inevitable; Caroline and Justine are noticeably disturbed by his declaration.
This turn of events inspires them to descend into the Depths of Mementos, the deepest part of the public's collective Palace. The Phantom Thieves try to fight The Holy Grail, but due to the distorted will of the masses, the Holy Grail is instead healed after they attack it, making it impossible to defeat. After disappearing, the protagonist wakes up in the Velvet Room where Yaldabaoth informs him that he lost the game. Much to the surprise of even Caroline and Justine, Yaldabaoth sentences the protagonist to be executed, stating that the defeated must forfeit his life.
The protagonist ends up standing up to Yaldabaoth and the twins, fully awakening his rebellion as shown by his prison door disappearing.
Caroline and Justine end up fighting the protagonist, but before they kill him, they start to regain their memory and thus refuse Yaldabaoth's orders. The twins then tell the protagonist to fuse them together, which restores their true, unified form: Lavenza.
From here, it is finally revealed that "Igor" was actually Yaldabaoth all along. Yaldabaoth tempts the protagonist with a world where the Phantom Thieves are loved and respected. Should the protagonist accept, it is implied that the Phantom Thieves have become no better than Akechi, and the public are doomed to be imprisoned by Yaldabaoth's control forever. The freedom not to think If everyone pushed the burdens of their lives upon others, nobody would have to think for themselves.
And who should be there to receive those burdens? And now that the foolishness of mankind has been proven, it is the administrator's duty to purge them. Yaldabaoth is the main antagonist and mastermind behind the events of Persona 5. He is the God of Control, the manifestation of mankind's slothful desire for an absolute ruler to receive the burdens of their free will, born from the collective unconscious thoughts of humanity.

Lust unit may lose a turn. Cannot be cured by conventional means.Jaldabaoth was an Evil Lord Wrath variant summoned by Demiurge.
Thus, he possessed almost the same exact appearance as the original one who resides in Nazarick. Like most demons, Evil Lord Wrath views humans as lesser lifeforms. Common to all demon-kind, he is a sadistic individual, who is willing to use a female human as a blunt weapon.
As a demon, he did not enjoy simply tormenting the weak all this while. Rather, he enjoyed toying with the weaklings who thought they were very strong until meeting him.
The identity of Jaldabaoth was initially created by Demiurge as part of his long term plans for the events to occur in the Holy Kingdom. However, such plan was also modified to serve as an archenemy for the adamantite adventurer Momon who in reality was his master Ainz Ooal Gown. The demon made his first appearance as Jaldabaoth in Re-Estize, attacking the capital city, under the ruse of searching for a powerful magic artifact.
After putting on a flashy duel with Momon, the demon retreated, supposedly in fear of the adventurer's strength. News regarding his battle with Jaldabaoth had played a major part on elevating Momon to be recognized as a national hero of the Re-Estize Kingdom.Famous choctaw
Though Jaldabaoth was technically the loser in the battle, his existence caused a stir among the various nations, inscribing his name as a new terror that could threaten the world. Evil Lord Wrath immune to all of the paladins attacked, calmly approached the Holy Queen, Calca Bessarezcapturing her and proceeded to use her like a bludgeon against the defenders of Kalinsha.
As a result, the paladins refused to fight him, afraid of killing the Queen in the process. While believing the Evil Lord Wrath to be Jaldabaoth's true form, his actions, and dialogues in front of Remedios with her fellow soldiers caused them to stay on guard for what he is planning to do next. Later, Jaldabaoth summoned forth a [Meteor Strike] from the sky to destroy the entrance gates to Kalinsha.
As a result, the city gates ended up becoming destroyed during the process, allowing the Demi-Human Alliance the opportunity to invade. Shortly after the fall of Kalinsha, it was reported that both Kelart Custodio and the Holy Queen were captured by Jaldabaoth. At the same time, Jaldabaoth's forces quickly conquered the Northern Holy Kingdom. All the human settlements were occupied by the demi-humans and turned into death camps on the demon's order. It was also discovered that inhuman experiments have been happening within the city, deeming it to likely be the possible handiwork of Jaldabaoth and his demons roaming about.
In addition, he ordered the commander to allow the humans to wait a few days, and engage in psychological warfare on the human resistance so as to break their morale. Jaldabaoth launched a preemptive strike at the city of Loyts, arriving there and confronting the Sorcerer King and Remedios during the midst of their meeting. At that time, Jaldabaoth had a brief clash with Remedios where it left the latter feel defeated upon getting hit by Calca's rotten corpse which was used by Jaldabaoth as his weapon against her.
Shortly after their battle ended, Jaldabaoth apologizes to his enemies for suddenly intruding into their meeting and causing a mess but lay the blame on Remedios for trying to attack him first. Jaldabaoth also adds fuel to the fire, declaring the kind treatment he has given to Calca as he was able to make use of her body until the very end without a problem.Gnosticism portrays Demiurge as an inferior "evil" god who created the world who appears as the " God " of the Old Testament.
In most schools of Gnosticism, Demiurge was created by Sophiaexiled from the Pleroma for her desire to create something outside of it. When she created the Demiurge, she was ashamed by it; to hide her folly from the Pleroma, she created a great cloud around him and built him a throne.
With no awareness of the Pleroma or the Monad from which all things were derived from, the Demiurge concluded it was the creator of all things. It then fashioned the material universe in an unconscious imitation of the Pleroma, and made the first human in the image of the true First Man.
Yaldabaoth (Persona 5)
Though it could not grant him a soul having no awareness of the Pleroma Sophia pitied it and granted Adam a divine spark that gave him life. The Demiurge was infuriated when Adam thanked the true God for his existence instead of him and sought to ensnare him in the material world through Eve; however, Sophia sent the serpent to tempt Evegranting her and Adam the secret knowledge of their spiritual nature. The Demiurge expelled them from Eden when he learned of this, and has since sought to keep the souls of mankind bound to the material world.
The concept of a Demiurge is that it is an artisan figure responsible for the fashioning and maintenance of the physical universe, but not the true creator deity. Though it is commonly depicted as willfully ignorant of the spiritual universe, the Demiurge itself and the material it uses to create and fashion the universe are considered uncreated and eternal or copies of the product of another being, depending on the system.Yaupon tea review
In some of these systems, it and the rest of the material universe will be sent to Hell, where it will become the judge and torturer of the damned. Known as Yaldabaothit is the ruler of Idea Space and resides in Paradise. Yaldabaoth is the form YHVH takes as he plots the annihilation of the human race with his servant Raguel acting as his agent, seeking the permanent extinction of the species for a pure world free of sin. To oppose him the fallen Herald Sariel and his imprisoned master Luciferthe Neo Messians and their creation Mariaand the flower shop girl, Sophiaaid the protagonist on their respective routes to kill Yaldabaoth and stop his plans of annihilation so that humanity can be created anew in Idea Space.
During the battle against him his body loses the gold plating as it is chipped away with damage, revealing his true black body. His body is eventually destroyed, with his head detaching from it before its destruction and continues the fight. In the way to the hidden lair, a female voice will plead with the protagonist to turn back. The voice will remain unheeded if one chooses to proceed to the final sanctum. Once both the angel and the protagonist reach Demiurge's lair, he will be invisible unless the protagonist has acquired the final Enemy Search App from a rare forma in Sector Horologium.
However, if the characteristics are met, Demiurge will appear, furious with the angel and swatting him away, leaving only the protagonist to confront the crazed monstrosity.I came in front of him in fear and worship, Listening to the prophecy from the tongueless prophet. The serpents coiled and the beasts restless, But each held back by the eyes ever watching. Its mouth consuming stars and its scales large as cities, It coils and bends with the cage rusting.
Sacrifices were made in exchange for power, But the great dragon never needs to feed. But its glory reduces not and his crown ever flaming, Only a fool would claim mastery to such a thing. Pity his Klavigar and proud Karcists, Who seek to rule the land but will all perish.
Pity the mortals who know not about the dragons, Descendants of the same blood but will die in ashes. My face went pale as the beasts roared, And I could hear the serpents shifting in darkness. The moon shed down a blood red light, As the mouthless prophet spoke once more. Its crown shines and its throne to be remade, And when the cage shatters it will breathe.
